What is Microneedling?
Microneedling, also called fractional needling, is a skin improvement technique. Tiny holes are made in the skin using a pen with very fine surgical steel needles. At the same time, a serum with active ingredients is introduced into the skin. The serum stimulates the skin from within to produce extra collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. The treatment is suitable for all skin types and for anyone who wants smoother and healthy-looking skin.
Treatment
After cleansing the skin, the serum is applied and the needle pen is moved over the skin. It feels a bit burning and the skin turns red. The serum is then massaged into the skin and we apply a soothing, protective cream. The redness decreases within a few hours.
Microneedling can be used for:
• Pigment spots
• Scars
• Impure skin
• Fine lines
• Skin sagging
• Large pores
• Pale complexion
Result
The skin becomes more even, firmer and smoother and scars and wrinkles become less visible. The skin may become red and swell slightly after the treatment. Point bleeding may be visible. These skin reactions are temporary and disappear within a few days.
